Why be interested in Integrating Business Central with Microsoft Teams?

Outside of knowing the curricula for MB-820, these are some good reasons to go ahead with Integrating Microsoft Teams with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central offers:

  • You can designate teams/channels and tabs to support your business and your groups with BC data;
    • Send POST requests to Graph APIs with Graph Explorer to create Teams/Channels/Tabs
  • You can allow sharing of BC data between users;
    • Share with (in BC) – > Copy Link; Paste in Teams chat
    • Share contacts in Teams via “+” -> BC -> type contact name
  • The BC content shared in Teams is customizable;
    • Want custom Teams cards?
    • Want visibility over custom pages in BC?

Pursuing this integration enables teams to work smarter, improve communication, and enhance decision-making capabilities while reducing operational inefficiencies.
